bienvenidex!
Hola!
Welcome to my page. I'm thrilled to connect with you and excited to team up with you to help you reach your therapy goals.
I see you as awesome, brimming with wisdom and inner strength. I believe in your unique experiences and instincts to guide us in your therapy so you can make the changes you crave and totally deserve.
Get ready for some grace-filled honesty, a curious mind, and a healthy dose of humor. I'm here to listen to you, put your heart first, and make sure your mind and voice are heard loud and clear.
Vamos!
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
adults 25-65
Us Humans, we are messy, and transitions are scary: break-ups, illness or death of a loved one, money, career demands, eating, weight & body concerns; dating, parenting, divorce, extended family...these often come with layers of emotions, thoughts and sensations (stress, anxiety, depression, confusion, "stuckness").
Together, as quickly as the first session, we begin to use these emotions to inform and transform! Emotions can be wise. Reconnecting your creativity and loving wisdom to problem solve can be most healing!
COUPLES THERAPY
Dating, Pre-Marriage, LGBTQ+, Culturally diverse, Religious, Spiritual, & married couples
So often couples arrive to therapy feeling frustrated, broken-hearted or lost, feeling distant, uncertain and unable to communicate with one another with kindness, respect and love.
Trained in Transformative Couples Therapy® (TCT), I help couple partners learn new ways to connect with each other with compassion, understanding and results. You will each learn to access your individual emotions such as anger, fear, loneliness or sadness and express these safely along with your most important desires and longings.
As your therapist, I guide and support each effort with detailed attention to your language, nervous system, thinking process, and emotional responses to help restore you and your relationship to the strengths and qualities it already possesses.
FAMILy Therapy
FAMILy, siblings, parent-Child, blended
We are all in this together. But what if our family is too close or too disconnected? What if there are no boundaries between family members or no room to be yourself and still be loved and accepted?
Family therapy aims to increase the safety and motivation to start communicating and problem solving in a new way that bring you the love you deserve—with more patience, kindness and creativity. Together, you’ll learn new tools to be more intimate with each other while respecting and meeting one another’s needs.
MILITARY
active duty, veteran, reservists, and their spouses, regardlessof member’s DD-214 status
Whether on a military installation, in person or via telehealth, working with active duty, Reservists, and veteran service men and women is my honor and privilege.
I am trained in PTSD assessment and treatment, CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), head injury recovery (TBI), substances recovery support, insomnia, pre and post deployment and reintegration into civilian home and work life through the Center for Deployment Psychology headquartered at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
I am the step-daughter of a US Air Force Master Sergeant (Vietnam-Persian Gulf), and now humbly offer my services to military families across California.
