We've all heard that "marriage is hard work" but what is the actual "work" they keep talking about?
Training in the Transformative Couples Therapy™ model of Accelerated Psychodynamic Experiential therapy, couples undergo an experience to "amplify" their capacity go give and receive love; to identify emotions and articulate the desires of their hear that can "mobilize: the couple towards safety, trust, respect and, an ultimately, love. We will gently identify your strengths to begin to reduce the confusion, pain and conflict, and together, increase security, attachment and compassion with each other and the world around you. About Connie
Connie Morlett Madison, Owner, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Mrs. Morlett Madison holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in business, and later attended Argosy University for her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology where she proudly presented as her Commencement Class Speaker.
Today, Mrs. Morlett Madison provides counseling services for Individual, Family, Couple, and Group in her private practice, Morlett Counseling, in Claremont, Ca. Connie is specialized in Military Service Member and Family mental health, Eating Disorder recovery and Transformative Couples Counseling, including trainer certification for Prepare/ Enrich for pre-post standard or Faith-based marriage counseling. Connie also provides lectures and training for education and mental health professionals for clients such as San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center, Child Care Alliance Los Angeles, and the Mexican-American Opportunity Foundation, just to name a few.
Mrs. Morlett Madison has done clinical supervision in her private practice and for Pepperdine University’s Aliento Bilingual Spanish MFT program for Latino/a Communities studies, and formerly, for Family Preservation in collaboration with the Department of Children and Family Services. Currently, Connie offer clinical supervision for pre-licensed (associate) MFTs in an In/Out patient eating disorder recovery and treatment facility in Claremont, Ca.
Connie has written, co-developed and facilitates "Healthy Kids Through Peaceful Parenting" a court-approved Co-Parenting program for separated or divorced parents at SPIRITT Family Co-parenting Center in Whittier, Ca.
On her off time, you will find Ms. Morlett Madison, an amateur but dedicated Flamenco dancer, enjoys the theatre, live music and Angels games with her friends and family.
